Black Orchid was launched in 2006 by the design house of Tom Ford and is classified as an oriental chypre fragrance. Luxurious and sensual, it leaves a richly dark trail of black orchid and spicy herbs. Created by Givaudan perfumers, who consider black orchid the most desirable scent of all. Tom Ford Black Orchid opens with notes of Amalfi lemon, bergamot, ylang-ylang, gardenia, jasmine, black currant, mandarin, and truffle. The heart is dressed in spicy and fruity notes with luxurious black orchid as the main ingredient. The warm, sensual base consists of notes of incense, amber, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla, and Mexican chocolate. Black Orchid comes in a luxurious black bottle with gold details.
